Kicking back with off-duty Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Srg. Randy Sutton which I have spoted at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.  Srg. Sutton can be frequently seen on the re-runs of  the popular TV show -- COPS. He is the Southeast Area Command Supervisor.

Just had to take a photo with one of the guys from the LVMP bike patrol.

Making their presence known, cutting down on crime and making visitors feel safer on the strip and downtown is one the many jobs of the bicycle patrol.

Welcome to Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office. Great thanks to Dave "Toad" Evans' wife who worked at the dispatch center for being so kind and cool and arranging a tour of this "high-tech" facility.

Sitting behind one of the several consoles in the dispatch center. Now try to run all the monitors and radios all at once. Now that takes some major concentration folks...!! Trust me, I know. Can you say "multi-tasking?"

Bond,...James Bond. Well, that was back then in the good 'ole days. These days, actor Sean Connery is The Rock, Entrapment, Finding Forrester and such.  Hmm...he's slightly taller than I expected.

Trying to vanish the elephant at the Desert Passage inside the new Alladin Hotel...unsuccesfully of course.  Ever tried to vanish a "stoned" elephant?!?  Sheesh, not as easy as it sounds ya know!? Now there's a job for the "masked magician."

One of my favorite places to eat in Vegas is at the Rain Forest Cafe at the MGM. I just love the atmosphere there. It really makes you feel like you are in the middle of a city with close to half million people.  Er, I mean...somewhere in the tropics, yea, that's it!

After a hard days at work, one of Siegfried & Roy's tigers is just chillin' out at the Secret Garden of S&R at Mirage.
