ILLUSIONIST DAVID COPPERFIELD

David Copperfield....Born "David Seth Kotkin" Sept.16, 1956 in Metuchen, NJ.

Back in Las Vegas a year later, again backstage at Caesars Palace on Nov. 25, 1997 during the "Journey of a Lifetime" tour show.

A trip back in time. The year is 1988 and here we are at the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Circus Maximus Showroom Presents...David Copperfield the "U" tour, Oct. 19, 1999 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. Another great photo opportunity. Big "thank you" goes to Dee Anne Dimmick, Wendy Cavallari, Amy Neff, Lorianne Justice and the rest at Copperfield Studios.

On October 19, 2000 David Copperfield and three of magic's most legendary artists (Harry Houdini, Howard Thurston, and Harry Keller) were honored in a postal series entitled "Discover The Magic of Stamps" at the New York's Grand Central Terminal.

Copperfield proudly signs each and every sheet of stamps issued. There were total of 4 sheets with David.

New home for David Copperfield tour show (when in Las Vegas) at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.   The very nice and intimate 750 seat contemporary Hollywood Theatre.   Occupancy is much more smaller than at the old Circus Maximus Showroom.

Alright, everyone gather around Mr. Copperfield, because here is a trip down the memory lane for all of ya.

A bit of history lesson for everyone as many of my personal items are viewed by others for  "David Copperfield Milestones."   By the way, the very few people left in the theater were all the volunteers that were chosen at random to come on stage during the show to assist in several illusions.

Kinda neat event as everyone was entertained by the comments DC would make about each and every picture.  This was a great, laid-back atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Signing tons of 8x10 photos, program books, tour books, one page ads and magazines among other things. Oh, and sorry Toad, but Dave could not sign your chest.  Actually, I'm glad he refused..kidding.

In this one, you can see him personally signing more of the items that I have secretly "smuggled from state- to-state" for this joyous occasion.

Hey, look...it's the 2 stooges and a magician, all in one photo. Wow, Toad and I feel like really important people now, at least since the long-gone days of our best radio show. Ahh, memories.....radio isn't going to be the same without us. Hmm..maybe that's a good thing.

Yours truly and "Magic Dave" Copperfield. Yeah, so both Mr.Toad and I had cameras and had to put them to good use. They were a bit cob-webbed so it was about time.

Introducing...."Mr. Magic Man Copperfield" and David Evans aka "da Toad" radio DJ extrodinaire.   Okay,  actually now it is "Mr. Computer/Internet Wiz/ Webmaster/ Jack-of- all-Trades." I think that about covers it.

I would like to personally thank the entire David Copperfield crew, especially Jennie, Cathy Daly, John Bentham and others for making this arrangement possible. You guys rock, and we meant it...!!
